Beaches and interesting places to visit

The length of the coast of Montenegro is 294km of which is 73km length of the beach. Sutomore is located in the middle of the Montenegrin coast, which makes it suitable for easy and quick tour of other tourist sites and beaches. Besides beaches in the vicinity: Sutomore, Strbine, Maljevik, Canj, Queen's our guests often use this convenience and by car go to other remote beaches. From Sutomore not far Skadar Lake (15km) on which also has fine small beaches that should not be ignored. There are from Virpazar to the village Cikla and belong to the municipality of Bar. The largest and most beautiful of them is the beach in Lower Muric.

In Montenegro, there are many cultural and historical monuments that can be visited and to whom it is not difficult to reach:

• In the Bar at only 7km from our house is the castle of King Nikola. The castle was built in 1885 on the coast. Within the castle is a park with a variety of Mediterranean plants (including cork tree).

• Also, in the Bar can visit the ruins of Old Bar. Old Bar is a fortress that is several centuries was the center of Bar, while the city has not moved down in the field. Today it is abandoned and is in ruins.

• Very close to our house are the ruins of the medieval city of Nehaj from the 15 century, who built the Venetians. Haj Nehaj is located on a hill above the sea at a height of 225m and to it can be reached only by foot (about 30 minutes walk).

• Church of St. Tekla is located west of Sutomore, on kilometer from the sea. It was built in the 14th century. In it there are two altars, the Orthodox and Catholic. The church also performed worship and the Orthodox and Catholic priests. In front of the church is a cemetery belonging to both religions.

Sutomore is 7km from the Bar, 11km from Petrovac, 26km from Budva, and 36km from Ulcinj. As for other interesting sites in Montenegro Sutomore is 80km away from Ostrog, 60km from Lovcen, 30km from the river Crnojevic, 15km from Skadar lake.
